Accident are an incident on an

unexpected and unintended road
involving vehicles with or without
other road users that result in
human casualties and property
losses
 Factors Affecting
Accidents

1. Human factors
Human factors are the most
dominant factor in accidents,
almost all accidents are carried out
by violating traffic signs.
 2. Vehicle Factors
The condition of the vehicle that will
be used as our transportation must
also be considered, whether the
vehicle is ready to drive or not on
the highway. There is even
something that needs to be fixed.
 3. Road Factor
The road factor is related to our
visibility, many roads are damaged,
wavy which is very dangerous for
motorcycle riders. Many bumpy
roads also cause instability and
balance in driving
 4. Weather Factors
Weather factors can also be a bad
impact, especially during the rainy
season. When heavy rains still drive
the vehicle, our feelings are not
good and not good.
 How first aid is on
the road accident
are:
1. Don't Panic
Be deft but keep calm. If the accident is of a
mass nature, priority is given to victims who
suffer the most severe injuries but are still
likely to be helped.

2. Keep or avoid the victim from the next

accident.
The importance of keeping away from the source
of the accident is to prevent the occurrence of
accidents that will aggravate the condition of
the victim
3. Pay attention to the victim's breathing
and heart rate.
If the breathing of the patient stops
immediately, do the breathing aid.

4. Resignation.
Using a clean handkerchief or cloth press
the bleeding area firmly then tie the
handkerchief with a tie, shirt, belt, or
whatever else so that the handkerchief
presses the wound.
 5. Pay attention to signs of shock.
Victims are stretched with the head lower than the
rest of the body.

6. Don't move the victim in a hurry.

The victim must not be moved from his place before
he can be ascertained the type and severity of the
injury suffered unless the place of the accident
does not allow the victim to be left in that place.

7. Immediately transport victims to the center of

treatment.
After first aid to victims after evacuation of victims
to the center of treatment, health center or
hospital.
But basically first aid in accidents
must be systematically based on
DR CAB, namely:

1. Danger
• Before helping victims, you should
ensure that the location is really safe
for you as a helper, people around the
scene, and the victim itself.
2. Response
• Ensure Victim Awareness Conditions.
3. Compression (Pressure on the Chest)
• After making sure the victim does not
respond and has called for medical
assistance, do chest compressions
commonly known as CPR (Cardio
Pulmonary Resutation) or CPR (Cardio
Pulmonary Resutation).
4. Airway
• After performing 30 compressions, open
the victim's airway with the Head-tilt
chin-lift method.

5. Breathe
• After an open airway, ju proceed with
giving 2 times mouth-to-mouth relief.
