SAMBUNGAN

SAMBUNGAN
1. Tetap : a). Tidak dapat dilepas : keling, las

» b). Dapat dilepas : pasak, sekrup.

2. Bergerak : Kopling
SAMBUNGAN KELING
• Bentuk dan ukuran keling mengacu pada
tabel/normalisasi. Dasar ukuran adalah
diameter (batang paku keling).
Sambungan keling mempunyai persyaratan :
1. Rapat dan kuat : ketel uap, badan kapal.
2. Rapat : bejana tekanan < 1atm
3. Kuat : kontruksi bangunan / mesin.
Bentuk sambungan keling
1. Sambungan lap :
a. Keling tunggal
b. Keling ganda : berliku, rantai
c. Keling tripel : berliku
2. Sambungan bilah :
d. Keling tunggal
e. Keling ganda
f. Istimewa rowe
Kerusakan sambungan keling :
1. Plat melengkung
2. Plat sobek antar paku tarik
3. Paku keling patah geser
4. Rusak lubang desak
5. Plat pinggir tergeser
6. Plat pinggir sobek karena tarik
Bolt loaded in double shear.
Failure modes due to shear loading of riveted fasteners. (a) Bending of
member; (b) shear of rivet; (c) tensile failure of member; (d) bearing of
rivet on member or bearing of member on rivet.
Failure Modes for Fasteners in Shear

(a) Bending of member; (b) shear of rivet; (c) tensile failure of member;
(d) bearing of member on rivet.
Centroid of pins, rivets or bolts

 Integral to the analysis of a shear joint

is locating the center of relative
motion between two members.
 In Fig. 8-23 let A1 to A5 be the
respective cross-sectional areas of a
group of 5 points, or hot driven
members. Under this assumption the
rotational pivot point lies in the
centroid of the cross-sectional area
pattern of the pins, rivets or bolts.
 The centroid G is located by x and y
, where xi and yi are the distances
to the ith area center Figure 8-23 Centroid of pins, rivets, or
