Ways to Integrate Nearpod
into the Classroom

3
1. Presenting a Lesson
You can create your own presentation on Nearpod, download one of their
ready-to-teach lessons, or upload a PowerPoint file. This can be broadcasted in
front of the classroom as well as to your students on their individual devices,
by using the lesson’s code.

4
2. Formative & Summative Assessments
You can test your students throughout the lessons, by using a more formative assessment approach, or you can
use Nearpod to create summative tests for students to complete at the end of units.

5
3. Whole-Class Collaboration This is a way to ensure classroom communication both inside
and outside of the classroom. Students and teachers can
interact through this discussion page.

6
4. Homework The teacher can assign homework on Nearpod. The teacher will provide
the students with a code to sign in to the homework presentation at
home. This can include information as well as questions to be answered.

7
5. Review The teacher can utilize Nearpod as a study tool. A code can be created for a study guide with
study questions as well as study materials. The teacher can use this to review with students in
class as well as let them review the information at home.
