IDEOLOGY OF PAKISTAN
WHAT IS IDEOLOGY OF
PAKISTAN
 The word ideology is composed of two Greek words
“ideo” and “logos”. It literally means “the science or
study of ideas”.

 Ideology is a set of ideas and beliefs of a group.

 It is also the name of identity of human dignity.

 The aim according to which people live.


IMPORTANCE
 The aim by which human awake to move forward.

 It awakens human for the fulfillment of desires.

 Stops the way of failure and hopelessness.

 Pavement for success.


IDEOLOGY OF
PAKISTAN
 Ideology of Pakistan is an Islamic ideology.

 Implementation of Islamic teachings.


Quaid-e-Azam said,
“Pakistan not only means freedom and independence
but the Muslim ideology which has to be preserved,
which has come to us as a precious gift and treasure,
which we hope others will share with us”.

 The idea of Muslims, attaining Pakistan was infect

BASIS
 The creation of Pakistan was unique in the sense that
it was based on an ideology which sought its roots
from the religion of Islam.
 Five basic elements of the ideological base of
Pakistan:
 ISLAM
 TWO NATION THEORY
 TERRITORIAL LAND
 DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM
 URDU LANGUAGE
ISLAM
Muslims are a nation in true sense.
The basis of their nationhood are neither
territorial ,racial ,linguistic nor ethnic;
One nation because they belong to the same
faith ,Islam.
Muslim demanded for a separate and sovereign
state.
Lead their lives accordance to the teachings of
Islam.
Unity among Muslim countries.
To save their religion.
Quaid-e-Azam said;
“We do not demand Pakistan simply to have a
piece of land but we want a laboratory where we
could experiment on Islamic principles.
Safeguard Islamic traditions.
TWO NATION THEORY
Quaid-e-Azam said;
“The Hindus and the Muslims belong to two
different religious philosophies, social customs and
literature. They neither intermarry, nor interdine
together, and indeed they belong to two different
civilizations which are based mainly on conflicting
ideas and conceptions.
The fundamental concepts of ideology led to the
concept of two nations in the sub-continent.
Two nations in the subcontinent Muslims and
Hindus related to different religious doctrines,
social, customs and literature.
Living together for centuries, not forget their
individual cultures and civilization.
Two Nation Theory was the base of creation of
Pakistan.
Quaid-e-Azam;
“The Muslims demand Pakistan where they can
rule in accordance with their own system of life,
their cultural development, traditions and Islamic
laws.
DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM
The system of government is Islamic.
All the affairs( social, economic, political and
cultural) are decided on the basis of Shariyat (
Islamic law).
TERRITORIAL LAND
 Amongst the constitutes of ideology of Pakistan ,land
is an important element.
 Need of existence ,stabilization and promotion of
Islamic values.
 Quaid-e-Azam said;
“Nothing would be achieved simply by raising
slogans for nation we are one nation and the nation
cannot survive in the air ,it requires an independent
and to settle where it can rule and our demand is the
same”
URDU LANGUAGE
Not fundamental but a feature that
distinguished one nation from the others.
Language of Muslims and Hindus.
Official language.
Opposition by Hindus.
 Maulvi Abdul Haq aptly said:
“Urdu is the first brick in the foundation of
Pakistan”
AIMS OF IDEOLOGY OF
PAKISTAN
To Demand for a
Separate State
• The basic aim of ideology of Pakistan was
to Demand for a separate state where
Muslims can live freely.
• Ideology of Pakistan was to make the
vision and idea of the state of Muslims
clear.
• It told the Muslims which part of
subcontinent should be separated for
them.
To Get Freedom of Living
According to Islam.
• Subcontinent had its own law which was not
according to Islam.
• Muslims were not allowed to act upon their
religious acts freely.
• The political system of subcontinent was
against Islam.
• Muslims were forced to stop doing the
religious acts which were not allowed in
Hinduism.
The Survival of the
Muslims
• The Muslims were losing their culture
and values by mixing with Hindus.
• They were treated unjustly.
• They had the threat of being subordinates
forever.
• They did not have the freedom and
importance.
To Develop
Harmony
• The ideology of Pakistan defines two
nation theory which is the base of the
relationship between the Muslims.
• Every Muslim of the world is the
member of one Muslim nation.
• Muslims should effort together for
their freedom and success.
The Revival of
Muslims Glory
• Ideology of Pakistan gave the message
to the Muslims that they are not
subordinates.
• Muslim leaders told the nation that they
have their own identity and their
ancestors were the greatest people.
• Ideology of Pakistan gave the idea of
self awareness to the Muslims.
Conclusion
• Ideology of Pakistan is the ideology of
Muslims and Islam.
• This ideology is the base of the creation of
Pakistan and the rise of the Muslim nation in
subcontinent.
• The ideology of Pakistan defines that Hindu
and Muslims are different in their culture
values and patterns.
