EXISTING ISSUES
At AES level –
• Lack of on paper drawings – Water Supply, Drainage and
Electrical Supply.
• There is no daily waste collection & disposal.
• Projected Issues regarding proposed Master Plan of
Ahmedabad University – Move management, old building
affects by implementing new master plan.
At Institute level –
• Less manpower in all Institutes.
• Library and Store room problem in Venture Studio.
• Waste is burnt, which is illegal according to Section 3,6 and
25 of Environment(Protection) Act,1986.
• Nuisance of Street Vendors.
PROPOSAL: Utilities survey and management

• CCTV survey of existing drainage line. It would be cost


around
Rs. 15,000 – 20,000 (depending upon the time and
inspection area)

• Proper survey and O & M manual should be prepared for


existing utilities.

• Move management.

• Rules and regulations for upcoming buildings for new


master plan should be worked out.
DATA MANAGEMENT

Existing Scenario –

 Inadequate data management at campus level


If we are required to access any particular data
then we are unable to retrieve data in a easy manner
 No online admission process

 Financial transaction is not easy

 There is no Wi-Fi connection in the campus
