Course Description
This course is designed to introduce
students with the basic learning theories and
principles as bases in the design, development,
implementation and evaluation of instruction using
educational technology. They are exposed to both
traditional and innovative technologies to facilitate
and foster meaningful and effective learning.
Researchers and field observation on the
effectiveness of any supporting material in
teaching are utilized to further enhance and
facilitate the delivery of instruction in the teaching-
learning process.
Course Objectives
At the end of the semester, the students
should be able to:
1. Acquire adequate understanding in the
importance of technology in education.
2. Realize the value and importance of
technology in education
3. Develop skills in the development and
utilization of technology in education

5. Design both conventional and non-
conventional technology in support to

COURSE POLICIES
1. Each student is required to be in
actual attendance.
2. A medical certificate issued by the
attending physician or school nurse is
required for absence due to illness.
3. A student may be marked “absent” if
she/he is not in the classroom 15
minutes after the start of the class.
