• DISORDERS: cancer, depression, dementia,
chronic renal failure, altitude sickness.
• DRUGS: stimulants, narcotics,
antidepressants (side effect),
phenethylamine (decrease appetite).
• CONGESTIVE CARDIAC FAILURE
(congestion of liver with venous blood).
