Academic Honors and Grading System

Ranking for Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the secondary


and elementary level shall follow the 7-3 point scheme, that
curricular activity , 3 points.(Based on Deped no.75, s 2012

To compute the grade , FORMULA : SCORE x 50 devide # of


item + 50 x percentage

General Rules and Regulations


Upon Registration in Agusan Colleges Incorporated Basic
Education, the students, together with his/her parent signify their
intention to accept and a bide by the rules and regulations of the school.

GROOMING
A. Students are expected to come to school with a general
appearance of cleanliness and neatness. Hair must be properly
groomed.

B. In line with simplicity of lifestyle as well as health and wellness,


faddish attire accessories, polished nails and / or fancy hair do and
colored hair are not allowed.
C. Male student are not allowed to wear earrings .
D. Female students are not allowed to wear more than 1 pair of
earrings.
E. A students is not allowed to use make up in school except
during presentation( class activities, other special events ) with
permission from recommending teacher.
F. Any form of body piercing or tattoo is not allowed.
G. A student is not allowed to wear caps inside the school
campus unless required by school authorities. A school ID must
be worn all the time .
H. A student is required to wear the prescribed uniform while in
campus during school days.
HAIRCUT POLICY

The school reserves the right to conduct periodic inspection of


haircuts according to what is referred to as Barbers Cut , 2”x 3”
slide style. No other haircut style is shall be allowed.

Class advisers and other member of the faculty and however


expected to report to the guidance counsellor / Principal any
student who violates the haircut rule.
STUDENTS’ CONDUCT OUTSIDE
SCHOOL PREMISES

Although ACI Basic Education cannot be held responsible for


students conduct apart from the school and other school related
activities, there may be an occasion when the student’s conduct,
even though separate from the school and or / or beyond the
school hours, will be such a natures to involve his status as a
student or affect the good name and reputation of the school.
This misconduct can be cause for dismissal, suspension or any
appropriate sanction.
IDENTIFICATION CARD
(ID) CODING

The student must wear the official identification Card PROPERLY


and VISIBLY for immediate reference. Improper use or not
wearing the ID while in the school is an offence and shall be dealt
with accordingly.

Note: If the student fails to bring his/her ID, he/she is advise to


see the guidance counsellor ask for a temporary ID. A Php 20.00
will be charge for the ID and a community extension service well
be rendered .
SERIOUS DISCIPLINARY CASES

Smoking, Prohibited Drugs, Alcoholic Beverages


Possession or use of cigarettes, prohibited drugs, or Alcoholic
beverages is absolutely prohibited within and outside of the school
campus. Violation of this rule is considered a serious offence and will
be dealt with accordingly .Possession, sale or intent to sell or use of
prohibited drugs means Dismissal from school.

Physical Fight and Seriously Injury


Physical Fight is an act involving physical contact and cause pain
(e.g brawl, boxing, wrestling and the like)

Physical fight is never the resource to settling misunderstanding or


injury. Fighting physical which will be dealt with accordingly.
Cyber Related Offences are offenses committed using internet and
other digital technology.

Cyber Bullying – is deliberated and repeated negative behaviour


using information and communication technologies (e.g instant
messages emails social network site, chat rooms, discussion groups
or forums, phone calls, etc) to threaten, intimidate, humiliate, control
put another persons down and the like.

Membership in Fraternities, Organization, Association or


Societies not authorized by the school.

A student is not allowed to join fraternities, gangs organizations,


clubs, association, and /or participate in activities which are not
recognized by the school. Recruitment of members, hazing, or any
acts that lead to the perpetuation of these fraternities, clubs
or any organizations are strictly prohibited in school.
Any students found violating the above provision is liable for
exclusion from school.

Stealing
Taking items from others without permission is considered stealing.

Any student caught in Possession of stolen items will be charged with


stealing.

Possession of Deadly Weapons and Other


Harmful Chemicals
A students is not allowed to bring deadly weapons and /or harmful
chemicals at any time. Students caught in possession of such weapons
and or harmful chemicals shall be dealt with accordingly .
STUDENT’S OFFENSES
Categorized according to the following : Offenses against property, Offenses
against person, Offenses involving Dishonesty, Offense against public
Morals, Offenses against order, Offenses against security.

DISCIPLINARY SANCTIONS
Detention- This is a corrective measure which keeps students in school after
classes for a certain of time. There are four kinds of detention .

writing activity- This is made to realize the infraction committed by writing


their feelings and thoughts about it.

Community Service – to do manual work within the school grounds in


proportion to the offense committed

Special Detention – to work in school which may take the form of assisting
personnel in various offices,
Saturday Community Services

This is given to student who fails to report for community service


without valid reasons.

Suspension- this is debarment or prevention of students from


attending regular for a certain period of time.

Preventive Suspension- A student whose presence in school is


considered harmful or dangerous for the school community may be
suspended at any time by the authorities .

Dismissal- A serious sanction imposed by the school. A dismissed


student is permanently separated from the school.

Exclusion – A student may be dropped or excluded from the school


rolls and may be asked to withdraw from school because of academic
and disciplinary reasons.
Expulsion- The most serious sanction imposed by the schools.
An expelled student is debarred from enrolling in all public
schools.
