• TELECOM WIRING SHOULD BE FOLLOWED AS PER TELEPHONE EXCHANGE
RULES
• PROVIDED ROOF –TOP RAIN WATER HARVESTING
• PROVIDED SOLAR WATER HEATING PLANT
• AREA OF GROUP HOUSINGN SHOULD NOT BE LESS THAN 2000 Sqm.
• THE LAND OF GROUP HOUSING SITUATED ON 12 M WIDE ROAD.
• STILT FLOOR-

2. FIRE ESCAPE WOULD BE FAR FROM THE INTERNAL STAIRCASE
3. ALL FIRE ESCAPE SHOULD BE DIRECETLY CONNECTED TO THE GROUND LEVEL.
4. THE DOOR WOULD BE FIRE RESISTANCE TOWARDS THE WAY OF FIRE ESCAPE AND WOULD BE
FREE FROM ANY BARRIER
5. FIRE ESCAPE SHOULD NOT BE BULIT WITH COMBUSTILE MATERIAL
6. THE WIDTH OF STAIR CASE SHOULD NOT BE LESS THAN 1.2 METER AND THE TREAD SHOULD
NOT BE LESS THEN 28CM AND RISER SHOULD NOT BE MORE THEN 19CM
STAIR CASES
1. SPIRAL STAIR SHOULD BE AVOIDED IF THE BUILIDNG HEIGHT EXCEEDS 10 METERS
2. IF GROUND COVERAGE IS MORE THEN 500 SQ. METER THEN AT LEAST 2 STAIR CASE ARE TO
BE PROVIDED.
RAMP
1. GENERALLY SLOP SHOULD BE 1:10 BUT SHOULD NOT BE LESS THEN 1:8
2. IF THE RAMP IS MORE THEN 1:10 THEN PROVIDE POROUS TILES.
INTERNAL PROVISIONS FOR BUILDING

•THE MINIMUM LIVING AREA SHOULD BE 9.5 SQ. METER AND WITH MIMNIMUM WIDTH OF
2.4 METER
•THE MINIMUM HEIGHT OF CEILING FROM FLOOR SHOULD BE MINIMUM 2.75 METER
• THE MINIMUM HEIGHT FROM BASE SURFACE OF DUCT TO FLOOR SHOULD BE 2.4 METER
•THE MINIMUM HEIGHT FROM FLOOR TO BEAM’S BASE SURFACE SHOULD BE 2.45 METER

KITCHEN

.THE MINIMUM AREA OF KITCHEN WOULD BE 5 SQ. METER WITH THE MIN. WIDTH OF 1.8 M
•IF OUR BUILDING COVER 60 SQ. METER OR LESS THEN KITCHEN SHOULD BE 3.5 SQ. METER
WITH MINIMUM WIDTH OF 1.5M
•FLOOR TO CEILING HEIGHT WOULD BE 2.57 METER
•IF KITCHEN AND STORE ARE SEPRATED THEN AREA OF KITCHEN WOULD BE 4.5 SQ. METER
•IF KITCHEN IS ALSO USED FOR DINNING THEN THE MIN. AREAD OF KITCHEN WOULD BE 9.5 SQ.
METER WITH MIN. WIDTH OF 2.4 METER.
BATHROOMS & W.C
•THE MIN. AREA OF BATHROOM WOULD BE 1.5 SQ. METER, WITH MIN. WIDTH OF 1 METER
•IF BATHING AREA AND W.C AREA IS COMBINED THEN MIN. AREA WOULD BE 2.8 SQ. METER
WITH MIN. WIDTH OF 1.2 METER
•THE MIN AREA OF W.C SHOULD BE 1.1 SQ. METER WITH THE WIDTH OF 0.9 METER WITH
HEIGHT OF 2.2 METER.
•THERE SHOULD BE AT LEAST ONE WALL ON OPEN SIDE OF BUILDING
