SUITABILITY
TITLE
- A proposal title should be short and the first word of the title should be
important and be the focus.
-The word “English” in “English-in-camp” shows that the focus of the camp is in
learning English.

TIME
-The time is suitable as the proposal stated that the camp will be held during
holidays or weekends.
TARGETED GROUP
-The aim of the proposal which is to equip the students
with basic of language is suitable with the targeted
group.
-The number of students that can join the camp should be
limited.

RATIONALE
-The rationale is suitable to be put into the proposal as it
functioned as introduction of the camp.
-If the introduction captured the audience’s attention,
they will stay throughout the proposal.
EIC ORGANIZATION
-It is important to create an organization throughout the
period of time for the camp involving pre camp, during
the camp and after the camp.
-This is to avoid any chaos from happening.

VENUE
-The venue suggested in the proposal is suitable for
having a camp because it is conducive and makes the
learning process more fun for the participants.
The effectiveness of the English In Camp
(EIC)
The effectiveness of the English In Camp (EIC) activities were
evaluated based on the following:
a) Course objectives
b) Activities covered
c) Facilitators and officials
d) Benefits of the EIC activities
e) Organization
f) Overall evaluation
The effectiveness based on course
objectives
• Helps the organizer to keep on track based on the objective setted.
• The participants were given sufficient information on the objectives of the course by the
camp.
- This is because the main committees has given a briefing to all the campers before the
camp start.
• All the objectives were achieved.
-all these were laid objective is easy to achieve because the targeted group are restricted
to a small group of students which is Level 2 primary and the lower secondary student.

Teaches students to adapt and make use of the
things around them.
In this competition, students are not given funds or
modal money to perform their sketch. Therefore,
students will have to adapt and use the things around
them to improve their sketch and make it more
interesting. This is important as it teaches them to be
more observant, more creative, and allows them to
think outside the box.
Fosters leadership skills and cooperation
among students.
Through the production of a sketch, students
have to go through various processes such as
brainstorming, rehearsing and performing the
sketch. All of this requires cooperation and the
guide of a good leader to ensure everything runs
smoothly. A variety of other skills can also be
gained by the students which will deem
important to them one day.
Exposes students on how a sketch is planned
and performed.
Students get a chance to learn and go through
the process of brainstorming, cooperating,
planning, rehearsing, performing and everything
that has to do with producing a sketch. This
allows students to learn more about the English
