aimed at solving a certain problem.
 A winning project proposal requires
careful project planning and design
 Project proposal is used to seek project
funding or approval

6.0 PROJECT EVALUATION
 Evaluation is the process of determining the
value or the achievement of project goals
or objectives
 It involves gathering and analyzing
information to determine:
 Whether the project is carrying out its
planned activities
 The extent to which the project is
achieving its stated objectives or goals.
6.0 PROJECT EVALUATION
 Project evaluation is carried out periodically,
midterm or at the end of the project.
 Project evaluation can be done internally or
externally
 Elements that should be evaluated include:
 Progress in the work plan

 Achievement in objectives or goals

 Impact of the project or cost effectiveness of


the project.
