Palani and was started in 1995.

• The final product coming out of the company is

“Polypropylene bags”.

• The raw material used for the manufacturing of the bags is

the polypropylene granules (PP).

• This material is purchased from the Reliance polymers of

Reliance industries limited.

PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT

• There are three sections in the Production department of

the company:

- Extrusion section

- Sealing section

- Finishing section
EXTRUSION SECTION

• In this section the PP granules is converted in to rolls.

• The machinery used for this process is the extrudor

machine.

• Polypropylene(PP) granules are first converted in to 4 inch

to 14 inch wide tapes by Extrusion process and made into
roll.
EXTRUSION MACHINE
SEALING SECTION

• The process in this section is cutting and sealing the roll

into bags of desired size.

• The length of the cut from the roll can be made from 4 inch
to 6 inch.

• Machinery: Sealing table with sealing wire.

FINISHING SECTION

• The finishing section is actually the packing section.

• The packing is done for the weight of 1kg per pack.

• According to the order packing is done and then

dispatched.
FINANCE DEPARTMENT

• Finance as a whole is done manually only.

• State Bank Of India is the banking partner of the company.

SALES DEPARTMENT

• The sales is done to the following companies. Erode and

tirupur are the main sales areas of Moorthy polymers.

-Om Shakthi enterprises

 SWOT ANALYSIS

• Strength: The orders taken are delivered correctly and within the time
limit.

• Weakness: There are no safety measures for workers. So, they should work
with extra caution.

• Opportunities: More customers can be added to the company by

marketing.The company should concentrate some more on marketing.

• Threats: Plastic ban is a slight threat to the company as it is not likely to be

imposed in our state now.
