Data Verication and Validation with some methods

1. Comparing Post-Disaster data with Before Disaster Data. Especially checking the consistency of
numbers and unreasonable changes or doubts about their accuracy.

2. Comparing with Mass Media reports. credible Reports of Non-Government Organizations 11

3. Confirmation to credible strategic sources such as Government and Non-Government Institutions working
at the disaster site

4. Checking Air Maps and Photos.

5. Visit the Field. Although this method is a reliable way to check, it requires a lot of time and money.
