Pakistan and the United States have significant cultural distances including different languages, religions, ethnicities, and values like individualism versus familial kinship. The US funds English education programs in Pakistan and cultural exchanges like visits from US jazz musicians to try to improve relations. While administrative distances also exist like different currencies and political tensions historically, the US has supported cultural preservation projects in Pakistan to promote cultural understanding between the two countries.
