tribe. The government established it as a

The Osing people were the remaining Blambangan people. The descendants of the Blambangan
Hindu kingdom are different from other societies (Java, Madura and Bali), when viewed from
cultural and linguistic customs. Kemiren village was born in the Dutch colonial era, in the
1830s. Initially, this village was just a stretch of rice fields and forests belonging to the
residents of Cungking Village which was the forerunner of the Osing community. The Osing
community in Kamiren village had a distinctive tradition which was carried out from
generation to generation which were all original. Entering the village of Kamiren there is a
different atmosphere than the entire village in Banyuwangi. One of them, in terms of farming,
the Kemiren community held a tradition of salvation since planting seeds, when rice began to
