MIST FORMATION
• When the temp of the outer atmosphere is lesser than the inner
side of the vehicle, then the mist is formed at the glass.
• When it’s colder outside, it lowers the relative humidity point
at the inner side of vehicle.
• Humidity levels inside the vehicle can increase by
1. Passengers breathing
2. Damp carpets or floor mats
3. Clothes that are wet from rain
The increase in humidity leads to the formation of
mist inside the car.
PROBLEMS OF MIST FORMATION
• Mist formation caused a distraction to the driver's visibility.
• It leads to the vehicle accidents at the hilly areas.
SOLUTIONS
• The mist formed in the inner glass side can be eliminate by
providing a narrow wiper inside the glass.
• The wiper can be able to move with the outside wiper.
• Also it can able to move individually according to the
situation.
• This improves the visibility of the driver.
RELEVANCE
• The mist inside the vehicle can be eliminate by switching on
the A/C, But
1. It leads to the energy loss
2. All the vehicle do not have the A/C systems
• In large vehicles the mist formed in large area, so it should
manually cleaned by the driver itself.
OBJECTIVES
• To implement a control system this reduces human efforts.
• To increase automation in vehicle driving system.
• To achieve high safety by reducing the driver’s workload.
• To minimize rates of an accident caused by distraction in
driving.
• To make the system easy to install.
• To develop a cheaper automated system that can be integrated
easily.
METHEDOLOGY
• EXTERNAL WIPER CIRCUIT FOR DRIZZLE
• For the actuation of wiper motor during drizzle, the
microcontroller receives the signal from the first sensor . As
this signal is sensed by the microcontroller, it sends the signals
to the wiper motor to run at slow speed. This signal is timed
one. After one complete revolution of the motor it gives an
interval of about four seconds. This action is continued until
the water in the beaker is lowered or goes below the sensor1
position. Delay period is provided to stop the motor for four
seconds by microcontroller.
COST
• The cost for production is below 5000
