SIOP-The Sheltered Instruction Observation

Protocol

SIOP is used to make content comprehensible for

English Language Learners

Key components of the SIOP model are teaching

language and content effectively

Learning Styles

I accommodated verbal, visual, social, and auditory learners. I had

a presentation for the visual learners. I personal spoke about the
ideas to help auditory learners and verbal learners. I demonstrated
to the students how to make diagrams in order to help visual
learners. Lastly, I had the students collaborate with one another to
accommodate social learners.
