Introduction
Monitoring is used to all teaching and learning situations. It has
target to get the objective of providing discipline in appropriate
atmosphere. Monitoring is a process to monitor and control the
student learning from the beginning till the end of the learning
process.
Purpose
Monitoring offers the opportunity to assess the progress of
individuals, and often provides an indication of what to re-teach
or practice further.
Analysis of Monitoring
Teacher does monitoring when
the teacher asks the students
make a group.

Teacher does monitoring by asking and giving suggestion to students
when the students work in a group. Teacher monitors the students
progress in making invitation card in their group.
The teacher is doing monitoring to dig more deep students
understanding in comprehending the topic by creating a text
based on their idea. Here, teacher measure students’ skill and
creativeness to produce innovative idea to make an interesting
invitation card

Teacher do monitoring by looking at the students work to
know students did well. The students are able to understand
the topic and create good simple invitation card.
Strength and weakness
 From the presentation of monitoring as one of the part of classroom
management, I can conclude that I have strong and weakness point
in implementing it. The strong points is where I using classroom
facility to explain the material to efficient the time consuming. I
gave students a video as warming up of the learning activity in the
class; I did it because I wanted to stimuli the students’ eagerness to
learn the material. I also used students grouping as one of learning
strategy to make the learning process more secure and decrease the
student’s tension.
 Besides of my strong points, I also have some problems in
conducting my simulation (weak points). I was nervous in doing
simulation and the effect was I did mispronunciation. And other
weaknesses were where I did not give evaluation or add more
information of the student’s work when they did performance. And I
think I should be more creative when I deliver the simulation. It can
be doing game and using innovative strategy to make the learning
more fun and the atmosphere more alive.
Conclusion

Monitoring is one of the techniques that are used for teaching


and learning. It is used to create comfortable learning process
in certain atmosphere. It creates safe situation to make the
students learn more secure and relax circumstance. The teacher
becomes supervisor as a role in the monitoring when the
learning process happened. Here, teacher provides the better
feedback for the students by doing monitoring and students
will be able to show their best ability and skill in doing their
performance.
