 Weather describes the state of the

atmosphere at any particular time.

 Weather can be described in terms of
temperature, precipitation (snow, rain
& hail), wind speed and direction,
visibility and cloud amounts.
 It is the condition of the atmosphere
in a certain area at a given time.
 Climate describes the average
weather of a particular part of the
world at different times of the year
 In Britain we would expect cool
summers and mild winters with
moderate rainfall throughout the
year

of energy moving through the
atmosphere.
They can act as a focusing mechanism
for storms formation, or even to intensify
low pressure systems.
It refers to any disruptions of the
atmospheres stable condition.
TYPES OF
WEATHER
DISTURBANCES
TYPHOON
OR
HURRICANE
A large heat engine, where great amounts
of heat are being produced from the
process of latent heat of condensation.
Both are tropical storms and most of their
characteristic are the same. They have a
wind speeds that are more than 74 mph,
and are accompanied by hail, strong winds,
storm surges and rain.
HURRICANE
Hurricane comes from the word HURACAN which means Big Winds
