 Abstract
The training on “Customer-Product data utility
software” gave me a sound knowledge of C# and
how software are developed using Visual Studio.
This training focuses on the development of
stable and efficient c# application using Visual
basics. During the training Data security was the
main focus, in which data was given by users in
form of code words and the data was abstracted
from it without leaking it.

Frictionless transaction is the holy grail of commerce. Ensuring that money
changes hands smoothly, securely and in real-time requires perfect operation of
a complex process.

With a dedicated line for designing and production of smart banking cards,
SCIT’s in-house team works with multiple banks, system integrators and solution
providers to develop smart cards with chip and fascia personalization.
They develop customized applications to meet their product personalization and
service requirements. SCIT’s state-of-the-art line has EMV personalization
machines from Datacard and NBS which are used to produce Prepaid, Credit and
Debit cards – both Magstripe and Chip based.
The facility is PCI certified for EMV cards and NPCI certified for RuPay cards for
both card manufacturing and personalization
 Telecom cards
SCIT makes it easy for people to connect to each other in a smarter and faster
way by manufacturing over 16 million personalized SIM cards every month.
These cards are supplied to global leaders for domestic and export markets.
The entire process chain from manufacturing the Card Body, Milling,
Embedding, Plug-Slitting and Personalization of these cards is carried out in our
state-of-the-art production lines.
 Identity cards
As the demand for identity management and individually-targeted services increase,
SCIT has stepped up to make the task more secure and intelligent
Government ID: We are the largest manufacturer of RSBY cards,
supplying to all the major TPA companies in country for the mammoth
Indian ID project. SCIT is also a key partner of the Indian government’s
financial inclusion project, supplying personalized Smart Cards to
various service providers such as Genpact, TCS, and HCL.
We also provide Driving License cards and Registration Certificates to various states as
well as other photo ID cards for various government agencies and private
organizations.
Spreading our wings to other countries: SCIT also exports Smart Cards for key
government initiatives in neighbouring South East Asian countries with customized
security features to meet local requirements
Contactless cards
SCIT has the capability to manufacture Contactless Smart Products including
Smart Cards, Smart Tokens, Smart Key chains, Smart Certificates etc. These are
manufactured for Automatic Fare Collection by various metros of India, Public and
Private limited companies, Hotels, Toll Applications, System Integrators using
various chips like MIFARE Classic® / MIFARE® DESFire / SmartMx / Infineon 1KB
/ Infineon My-d move / Sony Felica RC-S962,RC-SA00, RC-SA01 etc.
 Infrastructure
SCIT operates out of a sprawling 66,000 square feet facility in Pune, Maharashtra which
is ISO 9001:2008 certified.
To cater to a demanding clientele we have world class equipment like KBA Metronic
Genius 52, Lauffer & Burkle laminator and Muehlbauer lines for Cards Production. We
also have dedicated Datacard & NBS personalization lines. This completely self-
contained design-to-delivery facility has dedicated lines for Telecom, Banking and ID
cards.
SCIT is today the largest quarter Card (telecom) manufacturer in India. This plant is
equipped to handle multiple form factors of Telecom cards like 2FF, 2FF+3FF and
2FF+3FF+4FF.
The line has a capacity of card body, milling and embedding 9 million cards per month
and EMV card personalization with inline mailers of 1.5 million per month.

Pre Press: Artwork Management and Computer to Plate making
Printing: Actual artwork is printed on the desired raw material sheets
Collation and Lamination: Making sets of desired number of layers and fusing it to
monolithic sheet
Card Punch: Punching out the ID-1 format cards from the Sheet
Hot stamping: Hologram and signature panels are hot stamped on the card
Milling & Embedding: Implanting Chip on card
Personalization: Personalizing card as per customer data
Fulfillment: Personalizing carrier, matching and affixing card with corresponding
carrier and enveloping them.

that it can be used in smart cards. The
challenging part was to maintain the
security of the data . This was done by
the developer by the use of this software
, without actually accessing the data
directly.
