Introduction
 Proposing a wearable smart watch connected with Google glass for

navigation of GPS.

 User can feed destination to the smart watch and the virtual reality image is

seen on glass.

3
About Google glass
 Google glass provide an experience known as augmented reality.

 Where images are super imposed over what the user sees in real life.

 People who wear this can communicate with internet through voice

commands.

7
Methodology
 The Smart watch just acts only as the GPS Navigation device.

 Accepts input from the user and transmits GPS signal through transmitter.

 The receiver containing Google glass circuit

 Receives GPS signal and converts the signal into virtual reality image.

 The GPS navigation and the smart watch can be achieved through installing a

software.

10
Working
 Google glass contains a mini projector which projects a layer with semi-transparent

prism which directs the retina in the eye.

 The Smart watch consists of the GPS navigation software which is installed in

Smart Watch.

 The GPS navigation thus obtained is transmitted through the transmitter which is

built inside the Smart Watch.

 On the other side the Google glass receives the transmitted signal from the Smart

watch with the help of receiver.

11
Working of GPS navigation in Google Glass

12
• Google Glass receives the GPS signal and projects the signal in the
prism which displays the image as a realistic image.
• Guides the user to move in the correct direction.

13
Advantages
 Less time consuming.

 Easy use.

 User friendly.

 Operations are made easy.

 Works in all the part of the world.

 No internet connection.

14
Disadvantages
 Cost is expensive.

 Handling must be taken care off.

 Breakage cost is little higher.

 Slower navigation in some areas.

 Longer time usage may cause eye problem & headache.

15
Conclusion
• People who are in rural area can also use this without guidelines.

• Better replacement of the GPS devices.

• Since the smartwatches come with inbuilt GPS software, no internet

connection is required.

• This can be used by children and old aged people.
