WHAT IS STRESS
 Stress refers to a way a body response to any kind
of demand.
 Stress can be both good as well as bad
experience.
 When we undergo stress, our bodies react by
releasing chemicals into the blood.
 These chemicals give people more strength and
energy to achieve a particular task
 Stress has both the negative and positive effects.
 Too much stress can cause damage to health,
mood, productivity, relationships and quality of
life.

things done, but if we are not focused it can
become too much to handle.
 Examples are stress during child birth or wedding
preparation.
Negative Stress
 Negative stress is a type of stress that happens
due to excessive pressure in the mind and body.
 This type of stress can become very unhealthy
and can cause migraines, weakness,
drowsiness, sleeping problems etc.
 This type of stress can come from homework,
work, family problem.
 This type of stress in different from positive
stress because instead of using this stress as an
ambition, it is used as something that constantly
keeps us worrying about everything.
CAUSES OF STRESS

 Stress can be because of personal issues.


Personal issues include:-
1) Health problems.
2) Emotional battles.
3) Relationship problem.
4) Belief and values theories.
5) Stress of family.
6) Social and workplace issues.
7) Social conflict.
SYMPTOMS OF STRESS

HOW TO REDUCE STRESS
a. Avoid taking alcohol and nicotine or any kind of
drugs.
b. Indulge in Physical activity.
c. Get more sleep.
d. Try relaxation technique like music, movie,
reading novels etc.
e. Talk to someone.
f. Time management.
g. Learn to say “NO”
