• Bharatmala Pariyojana approved with an
estimated cost of 5.35 lakh crores.

houses in rural areas to be built in 2018-19

Housing Development
• In 2017-18 budget, affordable housing was given status of
infrastructure
• 69% of country’s population is in prime buying age of 20-40
