What is explanation?

Explanation text is a reading or paragraph that contains

information about the process of how an event or event
occurred and why it happened both about nature and the
social environment around us, which has a causal
relationship and process.

 Global Warming
Global Warming is a process of increasing the average temperature of the atmosphere, sea, and land of
the Earth. This event is very worrying for all of us as inhabitants of the earth because we may not necessarily be able
to adapt to changes in natural ecosystems that have not been unbalanced and global warming has caused many losses
to humans. Scientists were worried about this, but eventually scientists around the world agreed to limit it so that
global warming would not continue. ( general statement )
Increasing global temperatures are expected to cause other changes such as rising sea levels, increasing
intensity of extreme weather phenomena, and changes in the amount and pattern of precipitation. Other consequences
of global warming are the impact of agricultural products, the loss of glaciers, and the extinction of various types of
animals.
Factors that cause global warming are influenced by:
1. Greenhouse effect : All energy sources found on Earth come from the sun. Most of the energy is in the form of
short-wave radiation, including visible light. When this energy arrives at the surface of the Earth, it changes from
light to heat that warms the Earth. The surface of the Earth, will absorb some of the heat and reflect back the rest.
Some of this heat takes the form of long-wave infrared radiation into outer space. But some of the heat remains
trapped in the atmosphere Earth due to the accumulation of greenhouse gases including water vapor, carbon dioxide,
sulfur dioxide and methane which trap this radiation wave. These gases absorb and reflect back radiation waves
emitted by Earth and as a result the heat will be stored on the surface of the Earth. This situation continues so that the
annual average temperature of the earth continues to increase. ( The sequence of explanations )
Therefore, how to overcome global warming is that coastal areas can be protected with walls and barriers
to prevent the entry of sea water. other ways the government can help coastal populations to move to higher areas and
prevent greenhouse gases by reducing ac use. ( Interpretation )
