 Skin diseases are one among the most common diseases prevailing in
the world. Consulting a doctor every time for a minor change in skin
behavior is time consuming.
 So, by using the concepts of Deep Learning we can identify the type of
skin disease, which helps us to know more about the changing nature
of our skin.
 In this, we will take the different type of skin disease images present in
the Dermnet dataset and we use the pre-trained ResNet model to
extract features of the skin diseases from the dataset.
 Input is given in the form of image from the android application from
which it is sent to the local server where our pre-trained model
processes the input image and predict the disease type which is given
as output to the user.

 There are many android applications for detecting the

human diseases where the symptoms of the disease are
given as input manually to the application by the user.
 Many existing disease diagnosis applications tells us about
different types of diseases and ways to treat them.
 Existing systems contain many disease types and their
symptoms along with their images how they possibly look
like so that users can easily identify the disease .

 Since symptoms are manually given by the user in existing

system there may be some confusion for the users while
describing the symptoms due to different types of
terminology used.
 Sometimes even though symptoms for a particular disease
match users will not have faith in the results.
 There may me one or more diseases matching with the
symptoms given by the user and it leads to confusion for the
users .

 Our proposed system overcomes the problems present in

existing system by getting the users faith.
 If users wants to know about the type of skin disease they are
suffering with then by using this application they can take
picture of the affected skin area and upload it in the
application which tells us about the type of disease.
 By using ResNet 152 pre-trained model the type of skin disease
is identified and shown as output to the user.
 We use the images of different types of skin diseases from the
Dermnet dataset as a input to ResNet 152 model.

 No need to give symptoms manually to the application

to know the type of skin disease ,just an image of
affected skin area is enough.
 As the results are extracted from the image given by
the user, they will have some faith in the result that the
result may be accurate to some extent.

Result Model

 Many people who are suffering from different types of skin

diseases can get some knowledge about their disease
without consulting the doctor every time.
 As this application can predict the type of skin disease with
an accuracy of 90% by taking the image of affected skin
area, users will have faith in the predicted results to some
extent .
