INTRODUCTION
• Calisthenics has been around for a very long time originating from the ancient
Greek words kálos, which means “beauty,” and sthénos, meaning “strength.”
• The calisthenics definition is using your bodyweight and gravity to perform
exercises (some of which are pretty intense) using good form.
• Calisthenics exercises involve the basic Calisthenic Exercises such as Pull-ups,
Pushups, Dips and Squats but has also expanded to include Muscle-Ups, Front,
Back and Side levers as Strength exercises.

- CALISTHENICS TRAINING INVOLVES ANY EXERCISES PERFORMED USING NO ADDED WEIGHT, AND
IS COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS BODY-WEIGHT TRAINING
