INTRODUCTION:

Reliance trends is fashion and accessories


brand of reliance retail. It is the subsidiary
company of reliance retails. Reliance trends
was set up in the year 2008.Today it houses
almost 100 brands across key markets in the
country, Owing approximately 16 brands in
retail chain. It aims to offer good quality
fashion at remarkably low price.
COMPANY PROFILE:
It was founded in 2008.It head quarters in
Mumbai. MukeshAmbani was the chairman
and managing director.Reliance trends is
operated with 125 stores across the country.
All the Reliance trends stores located at
different places in India offers the best Indian
and International brands with each stores of
more than 15,000 sq ft of shopping area. It is a
specialty apparel store that will men, Women
and children’s garments.
INDUSTRY PROFILE:
The Indian retail industry has been thrown
open to foreign majors and is packed with
players who survive to offer great product
and value for money to Indian customer.
Internet is the major tool in India these
days. People have online in Laptops ,
ipads and mobile phones. As a result they
have continued across to online retail
markets as well.
OBJECTIVE:
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
To study about the customer satisfaction towards reliance trends.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE:
•To identify current customer tastes towards reliance trends.
•To understand the services provided by the reliance trends to its
customer.
•To get a sense of how well the company is giving the product
quality to the customer.
•To find out the customer real expectation in product available in
reliance trends.
•To study the satisfaction level of customer with regard to
reliance trends.

RESEARCH DESIGN:
The type of research carried out Descriptive research. Descriptive research
also known as Statistics research, describes data and characteristics about
population.
METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION:
PRIMARY DATA:
Questionnaire was collected.
Questionnaire was used as tool for collection of data.
SECONDARY DATA:
The data that can be collected from jounals, websites and magazines.
SAMPLE SIZE:150
SAMPLING TECHNIQUE:
Convenience sampling were used.
SAMPLING UNITS:
Customer of reliance trends.
NEED OF THE STUDY:
•The research is conducted in order to find out the satisfaction level and the
retention of the customer of reliance trends.
•The study is conducted how the services provided by the reliance trends.
•The study is conducted to find what the customer feel about reliance trends.
Measuring customer expectation in a selected region and understand various
factor affecting the customer choice while shopping.
LIMITATION OF THE STUDY:
•The study is limited to particular place.
•Sample size was small due to time constraint.
•Results cannot be generated whole of India. Since it is restricted to Chennai
alone.
•Respondents were less intrested in answering the questionnaire, as they felt
that it was an interruption to their regular work.

emphasized that achieving customer satisfaction can generate more and repeat purchases and
favourable word of mouth communication, which in turn will lead to higher revenue and
profits .
CHALLENGERS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN TRENDS: Sinha and Kar(2012):
investigated modern retail developments and growth of reliance trends. They also analysed the
challengers and opportunities available to reliance trends to succed in india and concluded that
they need to innovative in designing the format to deliver to the customer and also strive to
serve the customer better, faster and at less cost.
