COURSE LEARNING
OUTCOME
At the end of this course, students should be able to:-

• Apply the principles and techniques of scientific research

and its process (PO3)
• Formulate research problem, research questions and
research objectives, and design experimental procedure
to solve research problem.(PO3)
• Demonstrate autonomous learning in preparing a
research proposal.(PO12)
COURSE DESCRIPTION
• This course introduces the students to the principles and
techniques of scientific research in order to understand
holistically the research process.
• The focus is on developing the ability in identifying
problems, formulating and writing a problem statement
together with the research questions and objectives to
address the research problem.
• Following to that the students should be able to design
the required experimental procedures and the expected
results.
• Finally, the students are required to write and present
their research proposal.
