Key Objectives
■ 1)To offer individual assistance to small groups of students in evening classes that
helps to improve their academic performance in English, French, Mathematics,
Science, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
■ 2)To assist challenged students whose mother tongue is not English to deal with
school work where knowledge of the language is especially important
■ 3)To provide opportunities for high school students to obtain credit for community
activities
■ 4)To provide an environment for the unemployed youths ( high school, university,
new immigrants) to get Canadian job experience, help the community by providing
useful service and also earn a small amount of money to meet pocket expenses
■ 5)to provide assistance in job hunting, career development including resume writing,
interview process, contacting potential employers and submitting applications
■ 6)Giving references for students for potential employers and universities
■ 7)Giving an avenue to have forum for multicultural social evenings
■ 8)Gives an opportunity to do networking and develop contacts with other students,
parents, tutors and social activities.
■ 9)The career guidance and tutoring service is open to students of all ethnic
backgrounds.
