Procedure
 Attach the OMT to the antenna
Verify that:

 Antenna(s) are securely mounted to their relevant Pole Mount, with all
elements provided by the manufacturer.
 Antenna(s) are installed properly with no physical damage, in accordance
with the manufacturer’s installation procedures.
 Antenna(s) Feeder polarization is per link requirements.

Commissioning
 Changes to be done in System(Laptop)
1. Select Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center.
2. Change Adapter settings.
3. Select Local Area Connection > Properties > Internet Protocol Version 6.
4. Set the IP address according to requirements.
5. Click OK.
First to set TIME in equipment using CMD Prompt
1.First Login in Google Chrome using LOCAL IP > 192.168.1.1
2. Unit parameter to be changed as per LB (Platform Management>Unit
Parameter’s)
3. Port to be used (Platform Management>INTERFACE MANAGER)
 For Vertical link (1+0)
o Radio slot2 Port2 should be UP
o ETH Slot1 Port2 should be UP
o Rest Ports set to Down
 For Horizontal link (1+0)
o Radio slot2 Port1 should be UP
o ETH Slot1 Port2 should be UP
o Rest Ports set to Down
 For XPIC link (2+0)
o Radio slot2 Port2 / Radio slot2 Port1 should be UP
o ETH Slot1 Port2 should be UP
o Rest Ports set to Down
4. IPV6 Settings (Platform>IP>Local)
4. SNMP Settings (Platform>IP>SNMP>SNMP Parameters)

3. MRMC Script Maximum profile set to be as per LB
 For Horizontal link (1+0)
1. 1504 Port should be Used
2. MRMC Script operational mode should be ADAPTIVE
3. MRMC Script Maximum profile set to be as per LB
 For XPIC link (2+0)
1. Above Setting’s should be done in both ports
9. XPIC setting’s (RADIO>Groups>XPIC)

Admin State should be ENABLE only in XPIC link


10. MR (Multi Radio) Settings (Radio>Groups>Multi radio)

MR Admin should be Enable for both 1=0 & 2+0 Links


11. MRU Value (Ethernet > General Configuration)

MRU Value set as standard i.e. 9300


12. Services Configuration (Ethernet > Services)
13. WRED profile (ETHERNET > QOS > WRED > WRED Profile)
14. POLICER profile (ETHERNET > QOS > POLICER > Policer Profile)
