• Biography

was an Indian lawyer, politician and thinker

of the nineteenth and twentieth century (he
was born on October 2, 1869 and died on
January 30, 1948), Know mainly for the
purpose of claiming and leading the
independence of India through non-violent
methods.
 "BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE
IN THE WORLD"
• He was characterized as a transformational
leader, as defined by several experts in
leadership he used his influence and authority
to generate important changes in his people.
• He created the Indian nationalist movement
he established different methods of struggle
such as hunger strikes and in his programs he
rejected the armed struggle and preached
