Wireless project problem TOP 10

Feeder cables should be correctly adopted according to specifications.

The azimuth and tilt angle of the installed antenna must accord with design specifications.
The antenna connection and sector relationship are correct without reverse connection and
misconnection.
Waterproof and sealed measures for all outdoor jumpers and feeder cables should be correctly
adopted according to specifications.
The trunk cable should be correctly adopted according to specification without rosin joint.

HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD. Huawei Confidential Page 6

Wireless project problem TOP 10

The feeder cable should be earthed at three point at least, and has perfect w
aterproof treatments .
The feeder windows should have correct sealed measures and waterproof bend.
The RF connector needs to be installed perfectly.
The lighting–proof arrester must be earthed, all ground cables are connected
to the outdoor protection ground bar of equipment room after collecting.
Retain the additional engineering material for future use. There couldn’t wa
ste or throw away the engineering material optionally.

 Requirements for rectifying:
 Violation of Class A clauses All problems must be rectified or else a memo must be signed with
the Customer. If the Customer still does not agree to sign any memo although efforts have been
made by multiple parties to coordinate with the Customer, a notice should be given to the related
staff of Huawei such as the Engineering Management staff and a note must be indicated in the
self-check report for future check.
 Violation of Class B or C clauses Problems of this project: Except for the quality problems that
cannot be rectified this project (the specific cause must be indicated in the self-check report for
future check), all the other problems must be rectified. Outstanding problems before this
project: Such problems must be rectified if such rectification is rendered possible in this project.

Remark:
Class A clauses: Critical problems, meaning that the violation of this clause will severely influence the safe running of the
equipment.
Class B clauses: Major problems, meaning that the violation of this clause will influence the normal running of the
equipment or bring hidden troubles to the normal running of the equipment.
Class C clauses: Minor problems, meaning that the violation of this clause will not influence the normal running of the
equipment but will have an impact on the future capacity expansion, the convenience of maintenance operations and so on.
