JEWELLRY SHOP

GUIDE BY :- MR. BHARAT SUBMMITED BY :- MEENAKSHI

SINGH THAKUR DEWANGAN
INTRODUCTION
 JEWELLRY SHOP is developed to fulfill the requirement of sales the goods from the
JEWELLRY SHOP right from buyers exist, Buyer cash collection & at the time of
weather Buyers already sales the equipment or same equipment is already sales by the
Buyers.
 The main objective of this package is to maintain all the JEWELLRY SHOP specially
manage the sales part and help the Buyers with various types of reports like Sales Report,
equipments Report, Buyers Report, Sales, Sales Report between two dates.
 The S/W is developed keeping the requirement of the client in mind, making his work
convenient & Easy by automating the Sales Detail.
 The system is provided with all the facilities .It can be converted into a new package
when it is necessary to change the existing module by using the advanced technology,
without undergoing major changes and not disturbing the existing data.
 This existing system is developed in keeping in mind normalization, business rules of the
Agency field level & form level validation etc. This system developed by me solves all
the purpose & requirement, which was narrated to me at the time of database design.
 The Present system Developed in Visual Basic / MS Access is a user friendly and
error proof package .It means all the requirement of the proper Management
System for the Agency.
 The “JEWELLRY SHOP” also has the following features…
 This Package fulfills the requirement of JEWELLRY SHOP for any JEWELLRY
SHOP.
 It Keep track of the sales goods, buyers details, goods detail, return detail made.
 It provides tracking of buyer's details.
 It keeps details of the goods sales by the person.
 It manages all the details of the sales goods; return detail, buyer's detail, and
goods detail.
 The reports in this package provide us the details of the sales goods in proper
manner.
 The queries developed in front end are very appropriate and need very less time to
execute.
DATA ACCESS SOURCE

 Microsoft Visual Basic is the quickest and easiest way to create application for
the Microsoft Windows operating system. The Visual Basic programming
system allows the user to create attractive and useful application that fully
exploits the Graphical User Interface(GUIs).
 Recognize the action user’s take events such as mouse movements
and button clicks. Visual Basic also comes with a menu design feature that
makes creating menus a snap.
 Only after we design the interface dose anything like traditional
programming occur. Object in Visual Basic will recognize events like mouse
click, how the object respond to them depend upon the code we write. We shall
always need to write code in order to make controls responds to events. This
makes the Visual Basic programming fundamentally different from conversion
programming.
 Programming in conversional programming Language run
from top, down. For lower programming language execution start from the first
line and moves with the flow if the program to different part as needed. A

RELATIONAL DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RDBMS):

 RELATIONAL DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RDBMS):

 A relational model represents the database as a collection of relations. Each relation

resembles a table of values or file of records. In formal relational model terminology, a
row is called a tuple, a column header is called an attribute and the table is called a
relation. A relational database consists of a collection of tables, each of which is assigned
a unique name. A row in a tale represents a set of related values.

 RELATIONS, DOMAINS & ATTRIBUTES:

 A table is a relation. The rows in a table are called tuples. A tuple is an ordered set of n
elements. Columns are referred to as attributes. Relationships have been set between
every table in the database. This ensures both Referential and Entity Relationship
Integrity. A domain D is a set of atomic values. A common method of specifying a
domain is to specify a data type from which the data values forming the domain are
drawn. It is also useful to specify a name for the domain to help in interpreting its values.
Every value in a relation is atomic, that is not decomposable.

FUTURE ENHANCEMENT

 A software configuration that includes a software requirement

specification, a design specification and source code.
 A software configuration that includes a test plan and procedure, any
testing tool and test cases and their expected results.
 Testing is divided into several distinct operations
ADVANTAGES OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM

 The system is very simple in design and to implement. The system requires very
low system resources and the system will work in almost all configurations. It
has got following features

 Security of data.
 Ensure data accuracy’s.
 Proper control of the higher officials.
 Reduce the damages of the machines.
 Minimize manual data entry.
 Minimum time needed for the various processing.
 Greater efficiency.
 Better service.
 User friendliness and interactive.
 Minimum time required.
Report
Conclusion

 Here upon the project has been developed with the intention to bring information of
JEWELLRY SHOP. The concept of developing “JEWELLRY SHOP” is that JEWELLRY
SHOP to be computerized. This System provides uniformity and maintenance of the
transactions properly.

 The reports provided are very accurate and up to the need of the Institute. Which help
them widely in analyzing and improving their line of business? It also helps in decision-
making.

 With the conclusion of our project we hope that our work will be proved helpful and will
help the Agency to make easy and fast error proof manipulation of the JEWELLRY
SHOP process with minimum user interaction.
LIMITATION
 JEWELLRY SHOP is developed keeping all the requirements of organization in mind. At
present it fulfils almost all the requirement. But as for growing organization, it is difficult
to exactly predict what they need in future, so it cannot be predicted that this software
will meet their requirement in future also without any up gradation in our software.
 As the project is developed in VB and Access any number of tables can be included to
store different data and any number of VB forms can be included to design user interface.
 As the software is properly documented it will not be difficult for any programmer to
update this software.
 Any number of reports and graph can be added as and when required.
 The date format is Properly handled as per Indian Date Nomenclature.
 Further up gradation is possible in this software.
 In the later stage this S/W can be made online so that the manager can view all the
updations from his office.
 The JEWELLRY SHOP could be made automatically further at the current stage the
Goods sales is made manually and further the entry is made in to the S/W. This is
because the people making the Sales the goods are not literate enough to handle the
computer. In future it is expected that this problem could be solved effectively & easily.
