Definition
• Employability skills are defined as skills required not only to
gain employment, but also to progress within an enterprise so
as to achieve one’s potential and contribute successfully to
enterprise strategic directions. (DEST, 2002)
• Entrepreneurial Skills can be defined as the ability to create
something new with value by devoting the necessary time
and effort, assuming the accompanying financial, psychic and
social risks, and receiving the resulting rewards of monetary
and personal satisfaction and independence (Hisrich & Peters,
2002)
