Sequence of Works for I-beam Installation
Step 1: Setting out marking and drilling holes for baseplate installation
Bolt Size Drill Diameter Embedment Depth
M16 18mm 175mm
M24 28mm 175mm
M30 35mm 175mm

 Mark the setting out line along columns and beams

 Arrange RE/ RTO for inspection

 Drill holes according to specified drill bit diameters

 Clean up and arrange for RE/ RTO inspection

Step 1: Setting out marking and drilling holes for baseplate installation

Sequence of Works for I-beam Installation
Step 2: Installation of chemical anchor bolts, angle bar and baseplates

 Inject chemical Hilti HIT-RE 500 V3 to inspected holes and


install threaded rods for the top two and bottom two holes of
baseplate position

 Arrange pull-out test with RE/ RTO

 Make holes on baseplates according to bolts location

 Install baseplates in witness of RE/ RTO

Sequence of Works for I-beam Installation
Step 3: Installation of I-beams Maximum I-beam Length and Weight
 Part 1) N-SB1 is Max 7.2m long – 1000 kg and
 Forklift will hoist beam to its SFL level by 2 nos 2T hoisting N-SB2 is Max 8 m long – 550 kg in weight.
belts  Part 2) N-SB1 is Max 7.2m long – 1000 kg and
N-SB2 is Max 10 m long – 700 kg in weight.
 Lift up the I-beam to desired level.

 Arrange RE/ RTO inspection before start welding.

 Continue installing threaded rods for the remaining holes.

Sequence of Works for Bondek Installation

 Drill holes on bondek sheet as per shear studs positions on I-beam

 Lift up bondek sheets to I beam on top by using forklift

 Place bondek sheets accordingly and arrange for RE/ RTO inspection

Sequence of Works for Casting of Slab

 After installing the I Beam the Bondek will be place


over.
 Bondek will overlapped one another

 The Holes will be provided in the Bondek to fit up


with the shear studs

 Generally gaps are sealed with Poly foam/

Sequence of Works for Casting of Slab

 Lift up reinforcement mesh on top by using forklift

 Place mesh accordingly and arrange for RE/ RTO inspection

 Arrange for casting during weekends under RE/ RTO supervision
