 INTRODUCTION
• Title/Captions: The Use of Social Media in the Workplace
• Narration: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube are the most popular social media
platforms in today’s world. Many people have a social media account. People use them for
communication, networking, entertainment, research, to share ideas. Now, how can social
media change the workplace? Many think that is a distraction. However, it is the complete
opposite. People are very familiar with social media and why not apply it to the workplace?
Social media can achieve more.. Let’s show you the five ways to improve the workplace. Let’s
begin!

Afterwards, the music will play. Also, mute the video clip and play the music and voicethread

DRAMATIC QUESTION
• Title/Captions: How can Social Media Change the Workplace? Will it Help
the Workplace?

• Notes: There will two dramatic questions before entering the contents. The
questions will slowly appear on to scene by using animation effects (the
text will enlarge). While the animation effects are playing, the voice over
and music will play through.
COMMUNICATION
• Title/Captions: Better Communication
• Narration: Communication is always the key for productivity. It helps
people to work better and faster. The best way to be communicated is
through social media. If a worker needs help or have an issue about
work. He or she can easily send a message, post, or comment on the
social network. All they got to do is make a click on the comment
section or DM (Deliver Message) section. Then, Human Resources or
coworkers can easily respond and provide the resources. This will help
people to work more efficiently and rapidly.

• Narration: Human Resource can post a training or motivation contents on
the social network. So, the employees can learn to be more productive,
efficient, and motivated. Also, social media is a great way to research. The
workers can look for information about their jobs or work. Then, they can
easily apply it to work. This will help them increase knowledge.

BUILD A BETTER RELATIONSHIP
• Title/Caption: Better Relationship
• Music: Same as above.
• Narration: A lot of people use social media outside of work. It’s a great
mental break, to forget about reality for a little while. Yet, how does it help
building a better a relationship? Workers will follow or send a friend request in
social media. It will help them learn more about their coworkers, find their
common ground, and they will collaborate more in the workplace. For instance,
Mark: (Man’s voice) “Hey Jenna! I loved the video you shared on Facebook. I
thought it was hilarious!”
Jenna: (Woman’s voice) “Really? Thanks Mark!”
It looks like Jenna and Mark are getting along. Which is great! In every
workplace, the goal is to always have a positive environment.

• Title/Captions: Hiring
• Narration: People are always using the Internet to look for a job. Human Resource
can take advantage to announce a job offer on social media. They can give a
description of the employment, the requirements, and responsibilities. Also, HR can
easily see submitted resumes, people’s unanswered questions and communicate with
the applicant. Lastly, HR can do an online interview, which makes the time and
location very flexible. This can make the hiring process much faster.
