 As a team, our first strategy for getting the attention from
the classroom will be the easiest way by making the
classroom fun with students by playing some games. In
order to play games in the classroom, you should choose
the ones that are fun to play, but at the same time they
should be instructive. So, we come up with the website
that has a lot of different games that the teacher can
use on the whiteboard. Another benefit of this website is
that it is designed for different level of ages. So, you can
choose the age and the subject that you want your
students to practice. Then, play it and have fun with your
students!

 Our second strategy for getting students involved more in
the classroom will be using the pattern blocks while
teaching math or geometry subjects. When the teacher
uses the visual tools to make students discover math or
geometry formulas by themselves, maybe the students will
pay more attention into the subject. For an example; the
teacher can use these pattern blocks to make students
get in groups and investigate fractions with the pattern
blocks. When the teacher gives the paper with questions
on it like the paper on the right, it will help students to
discover it by themselves, students will be more curious
about the subject.
Our third strategy for getting students involved in the classroom will
be a questioning game. This is how it is going to work: Before all students
come to class, the teacher will put some stickers on the items in the
class. And then, the teacher will organize teams of three students and
ask them to work together and raise their hands when they think they
have found all the mistakes on those words. After the first team signals it's
done, give a bit more time and then have teams indicate with their
fingers -- together on the count of three -- the number of mistakes they

STRATEGY found in the work. The team that found the most describes its answers
until another team disagrees politely or until they are finished.

NUMBER 3: That way the students will be actively joining the class while they
are cooperating with their group members. And if the teacher does this
at the beginning of the class, it will become the warm-up game for the
day.
Our fourth strategy for getting students involved more in the classroom will
be inspiring a good behavior in the classroom.
Behavior is an area of particular concern to most novices in the classroom
and can be difficult for new teachers or anyone who has not already
gained respect from the students.
By using positive reinforcements, the teacher can redirect
students' misbehavior. The teacher needs to try praising positive behavior,
teaching politeness, offering rewards, and encouraging the students.
Another way to improve student's behavior in classroom is restructuring the
way the teacher teaches. The teacher should do this by rearranging the
classroom, giving hands-on assignments, showing a daily agenda, and
giving students breaks
First impressions count, and so as far as possible the teacher should get to
know the children in the classes she or he will teach before her or his first
meeting. Are there any children with special educational needs that the
teacher needs to consider? Is the gender mix even or is there a bias
towards boys or girls? Are there any pupils with issues (behavioral, emotional
or educational) that the teacher needs to be aware of? It is important to be
familiar with the school’s behavior policy, particularly the reward and
sanction system and to be prepared to use it. If students see that the
teacher consistently using the same system as other teachers, they will treat
the teacher like one. Some schools favor seating plans as a way of
establishing and maintaining discipline and so this also may be something
the teacher might like to discuss with the school, particularly if it is known in
advance that the class may have some students with behavioral issues.
Students will be
given more
computer time if
they are doing well
in the class.
 When the students get distracted the teacher
will count down from 5 to get their undivided
attention.

will pause and ask some questions.

a group, the teacher
will tell them to create
a group name and also
want them to choose a

students estimations about the unit they will
learn.

 At the end of the unit, prepare an interactive
smart board quiz for the students. Websites like
TUGBA NUR: TIP2 Kahoot or Quizizz are great for this.

To get the students attention, if
students are not listening, I will clap to
grasp their attention.
 I will give the students a chance to
ask questions and express opinions.
 I will help my students be more
responsible. I gradually increase my
students' responsibilities by
assigning small tasks, such as
erasing the board or collecting
homework. This will help them feel a
greater sense of accountability. I will
identify my most irresponsible
students and give them small tasks
that will boost their accountability.
 Small tasks will build responsibility,
and responsibility will lead to better
behavior.
The teacher will tell students that at
the end the lesson there will be a pop
quiz, so students may listen more
carefully to get high grades.
 I will offer rewards to increase
motivation and attention. I will try
classroom reward systems like
offering bonus points on the quiz or
using a prize bucket to encourage
students to better their
achievements and actions. A student
who is usually disruptive will start to
interrupt less if they are motivated
by doing well with their assignments
or following the rules.
