Abstract: There is always a possibility that a car might hit an obstacle while reverse-parking as the driver does not get the
full view of what is behind the car. Therefore, proximity sensors are necessary to alert the driver about the obstacles behind
the car while parking it. Our Carking Parking Guard Circuit is designed to solve this problem making use of Infrared
Sensors. By providing both visual (LED) and hearing aid (buzzer) to the driver, there is an increased possibility that the
driver manages to avoid an obstacle in almost all the circumstances.

 The space behind the car was segmented into three regions bounded
by 30cm, 15cm and 7cm concentrically. These boundaries are so
specified in order to alert the driver accordingly.
 The driver is notified by a set of LEDs such that the number of
LEDs turned ON increases with the growing proximity of the
obstacle behind the car.
 The driver is also warned by a piezo-buzzer (whose frequency
