1. Abstract
This poster discusses the implementation
of EF English 24/7 in speaking. This
provides students some videos in common
themes. The students need to record their
voice to test their pronunciation based on
the conversation in the video. After the
students use this application, practicing to
real situation and recording in a video is
needed to evoke students speaking
enhancement. Hence, students learn and
apply speaking by using the EF English
24/7.
2. Background
Indonesia faced the ASEAN economic
community where English will be used to
communicate. Communication is close to
speaking skill. Students need to be
proficient in speaking both oral and
written. Brown in Belinda Hana (2016)
conveys speaking skill is activities related
to students grammatical sentence
production, vocabulary mastery,
comprehension, pronunciation ability, and
fluency.
In this new modernity, everyone can access
anything by gadget. Students can learn
English by their own gadget. This posters
also discusses about the use of Education
First 24/7, where students can learn all
about speaking in English. This application
helps students to correct their speaking.
3. Objective
To find out how the EF English 24/7
Application for Senior High School students
support their speaking skill by implementing
Android-based application learning model.
Students will be easier to learn speaking
anywhere since it is effective and efficient, so
they can be more frequent to learn speaking.
