INTRODUCTION

Eco friendly technology is the method or

application Used to produce a safer and
unpolluted environment due to exposure of
chemicals, acids used in the process Of
development.
GOALS OF ECO FRIENDLY TECHNOLOGY
OTHERWISE KNOWN AS GREEN TECHNOLOGY

The goals of green technology are many. To meet

the needs of society in ways without damaging or
depleting natural resources on earth is the main
objective of green technology. The idea is to meet
present needs without making any compromises.
You have reached the right destination to know all
about the goals of green technology.

5.RESPONSIBILITY
TYPES OF ECO FRIENDLY TECHNOLOGY
GREEN ENERGY
Green energy comes from natural sources such
as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, plants, algae and
geothermal heat. These energy resources are
renewable, meaning they're naturally replenished.
In contrast, fossil fuels are a finite resource that
take millions of years to develop and will continue
to diminish with use.
Renewable energy sources also have a much
smaller impact on the environment than fossil
fuels, which produce pollutants such as
greenhouse gases as a by-product, contributing to
climate change. Gaining access to fossil fuels
typically requires either mining or drilling deep
into the earth, often in ecologically sensitive
locations.
GREEN BUILDING

The U.S. EPA says “Green building is the practice of creating structures and using processes that
are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building’s life-cycle from
siting to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation and deconstruction. This
practice expands and complements the classical building design concerns of economy, utility,
durability, and comfort. Green building is also known as a sustainable or high performance
building.”
GREEN CHEMISTRY

Definition of green chemistry. Green chemistry is the design of chemical

products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use or generation of
hazardous substances. Green chemistry applies across the life cycle of
a chemical product, including its design, manufacture, use, and ultimate
disposal.

GREEN ORGANISATIONS

Green Resources is Africa’s largest a forestation company and a leader in East African wood processing.
The company has 40,000 ha of standing forest in Mozambique, Tanzania and Uganda, established through
its own planting activities. It operates East Africa’s largest sawmill in Tanzania and electricity pole and
charcoal plants in Mozambique, Tanzania and Uganda. It is one of the first companies globally to receive
carbon revenue from its plantation forests. Green Resources was established in 1995 and is a private
Norwegian company with 105 shareholders.
INDIAN POLICIES OF GREEN TECHNOLOGY

India has so far opposed the EGA fearing the developed countries could use it as a new trade-restrictive
measure, apart from the fact that it is reluctant to reduce tariff lines for identified goods. Another
question that has remained unanswered is the identification of goods, as some of the identified ones can
be used for both environmental and general (non-environmental) purposes. A good example is a pipe,
which can be used as an input for a renewable energy plant or a waste water treatment plant but can also
be used to transport oil.
