IN ANIMAL HEALTH
Presented By

Introduction
• The term nutraceutical is a combination of “Nutrient” and
“Pharmaceutical”.
• Nutraceuticals are products, which other than nutrition are also used
as medicine. A nutraceutical product may be defined as a substance,
which has physiological benefit or provides protection against chronic
disease.
• Nutraceuticals may be used to improve health, delay the aging
process, prevent chronic diseases, increase life expectancy, or support
the structure or function of the body
Concept of Nutraceuticals
• Nutraceuticals are used to improve health, prevent chronic diseases,
supports function of the body.

• It holds great promise to reduce side effects and health care cost.

• Emphasis has been made to present herbal nutraceuticals effective

on disorders like allergy, tumor, immune-related, inflammatory
diseases.

BILCIUM RICH
1 kg, 5 kg & 10 kg

• A Unique combination of Calcium, Phosphorus, Vitamin D3, Herbal

Galactogogue, enzymes and Picrorhiza dry extract.
• Calcium:Phosphorus:VitaminD3 regulation
• Herbal Galactogogue consists of Shatavari and Jivanti. Enzyme
complex contains Xylanase, amylase, cellulase, Lipase and protease.
• The actions of the herb are antibacterial, laxative(in smaller doses)
stomachic and bitter tonic, hepatoprotective, anti-cholestatic
(relieves obstruction of bile salts), anti-inflammatory, anti-allergy,
antioxidant; modulates the immune system and liver enzyme levels.
Calcium is the major
mineral in the body,
about 98% of it present in
bone and teeth.
1 litre of milk at 4.0% milkfat
contains approximately 1.22
grams of calcium.
As the milkfat and milk protein
percentage increase so does
the amount of
calcium per litre.

Cows can be
hypocalcaemic and get
clinical milk fever, at any
stage of the season

The amount of calcium available to the cow depends on the dynamics of bone calcium metabolism and the
amount absorbed from the gut which is related to calcium intake, age, current calcium status, breed, calcium
requirements (growth, pregnancy, lactation), the type of calcium in the diet and other mineral and nutritional
interrelationships.
Benefits Of BILCIUM RICH
• Reduces the risk of Milk fever
• Increases milk production and its quality
• High lactation period
• Healthy growth
• Better fed conversion efficiency
LACTO BOOST
1 KG
• A PERFECT BLEND OF BYPASS FAT, YEAST CULTURE AND HERBAL
GALACTOGUE.
• Bypass fat:
• By pass fat does not interfere with the rumen as it has high melting
point. It directly acts in the intestine to get converted to instant
energy to give the boost.
Milk let down
• Herbal galactogogues helps increase in prolactin levels and also
maintain their levels high.

• Live Yeast Culture:

• They provide soluble factors which stimulate the growth of cellolytic
bacteria, thus enhancing the digestion of fats and fibre. Once the fats
are digested, the energy levels grow.
• Feeding bypass fat supplement to high yielders during advance
pregnancy and early lactation helps in minimizing the energy
deficiency.
• Use of the bypass fat should be in the ration of dairy animals for 10
days before and 90 days after calving
Benefits of LACTO BOOST
• Enhances peak milk production and persistency of lactation.
• Increase reproductive efficiency after calving
• Decreases metabolic disorders such as ketosis, acidosis & milk fever.
• Increases productivity and productive life of animals
BILVITA
Presentation: 120ml, 500ml

• Composition:
• Vitamin A,
• Vitamin D3,
• Vitamin E,
• Vitamin B12 and
• Vitamin H

• Indications:
• Anaestrus, Salient heat, Delayed Maturity, Lameness, Anorexia, General
Debility, Udder Development, better conception rates.
Vitamin A (Retinol)
• Not directly found in plants
• Carotenoids are converted enzymatically to Vit.A in intestinal
mucosa
• compared to Goats, Cattle have low enzymatic conversion activity
Benifits:
Reduced interval to first estrus

• Vit D2(ergocalciferol) and
D3(cholecalciferol)

Deficiency:
Rickets
Calcium,Phosphorus
disturbances that leads to
hypocalcaemia
Vitamin E as a Biological
antioxidant

• Benifits: • Young ruminants require
• Formation of protein from supplement Vit.B12 prior to full
amino acids rumen development
• Carbohydrate and fat
metabolism
