STAND
Stop the Loco.
Secure the Loco.
Secure the Control Stand:-
At First
Working Control Stand to be
made Non-Working:-
1) Move Auto Brake Handle to
FS.
Wait till Brake Pipe Exhaust
Sound stops,

(EQ and BP will drop to 3.4

Kgcm2.)
2) Without bailing off release the
DIR Brake.
(BC Pressure will drop to
1.8Kgcm2.)
3) Move Lead/Trail Switch from
Lead to Trail.
(EQ Pressure will drop to
Zero.)
 Non Working Control
Stand to be made working
Control Stand

Insert Reverser Handle and place

it in Neutral
1)Move Lead/Trail Switch from
Trail to Lead.
(EQ Pressure will build up to
3.4 Kgcm2.)
2) Move DIR Brake handle to Full
Position.
(BC Pressure will build up to
5.2Kgcm2.)
3) Move Auto Brake Handle to
RUN Position.
(EQ and BP Pressure will
build up to 5.2Kgcm2.)
