Analysis Condition of Single RC T-Beam
First Condition if depth of neutral axis is less than flange thickness (c < hf),
where all of the compression area of concrete remain in the flange or flens of the
beam.

Second Condition if depth of stress block is more than flange thickness (a > hf),
where all of the compression area of concrete remain in the flange and web of the
beam. This condition often called “Real T-Beam”
