• Conocer biología y biomecaninca del cartílago articular
• Conocer el algoritmo diagnostico y clasificación de las lesiones de
cartílago.
• Conocer los diferentes métodos de tratamiento para estas lesiones

CONCLUSIONES

• El cartílago articular se dispone en 4 capas, de las cuales la superficial es la que le confiere

la mayor resistencia a la deformación.
• Colageno más importante es el tipo II
• Las fracturas limitadas solo al cartílago son las mas difíciles de tratar.
• La clasificación de outbridge III y IV merecen tto con quirúrgico, asociado a debridamiento
artroscópico previo
• Lesiones menores de 2 cm ameritan tto con microfracturas o auto injertos
• Lesiones mayores de 2 cm ameritan tto con aloinjertos en casos traumaticos
