Selecting Your Defense Area

or BOL
Defend Against a Mass Zombie Attack

Warriors are not always the fastest

or strongest people. Strength and
Speed can be developed with
training

Warriors are those who choose to

stand between their enemy and all
they love or hold sacred.

Step 1. Select Your Potential BOL
• Go to Google maps and find local forests
• Forest Nearby? Close to home or work. Within walking distance.
• Why nearby? "We can always head to the mountains!" No you can't.
Evacuees will not be welcome and will be stopped. Road blocks can be
established by anyone with a chainsaw and burning tires.

The Ultimate BOL

Step 1. Select Your Potential BOL
• YOU DO NOT NEED TO OWN THE LAND Spring
• With a 90% die off of the population the land owner will
likely be dead.
• Officials will also be too busy to search forests.
• If you follow this site selection you will most likely not be
discovered.
• The forest should be at Least 1 miles wide or more.
• Locate your potential BOL in the middle of this
forest.
• There must be water within this forest.
Step 2.Visit Your Potential BOL
• Observe if the land is abandoned and no sign of recent visitors.
• No Power Lines
• No Paths
• No Trash
• No Structures at all
• Dense Forest
• Anything that indicates human presence
• Accept or reject (return to step 1) the site.
Step 3. Determine Defensive or
Seclusion Characteristics
• Hills- Give views of the area. Excellent as look outs/snipers to detect
invaders. But because they are elevated makes it easier to be
detected. They should not be used as bases. You should select a site
that is in the effective view of a hill.
Step 3. Determine Defensive or
Seclusion Characteristics
• Water Configurations (Provide Good site
water/food and a natural
barrier. Water fronts are easy to
detect and guard against
invaders.)

Best site
Step 3. Determine Defensive or
Seclusion Characteristics
• Depressions- Suppress noise and light. Will also protect against gun
fire.)
Step 3. Determine Defensive or
Seclusion Characteristics
• Thickets (Suppress noise and light. Provide a barrier, camouflage and
concealment. Animals sleep in the center for a reason).
• Rocky areas (Are a natural fortification. Provide cover from hostiles
and are very defensible.)
Step 3. Determine Defensive or
Seclusion Characteristics
• Is the site large enough for the size of your group?
• Is there room to establish your Area Defenses?
• Are there clear fields of fire while you have cover and concealment.
