 11. Connect Phones.
Total 24 KX-HDV phone and Analog SLT phone can be connected
automatically without any programming.
- SIP phone registration is required manually for other SIP phone including KX-NTV.
- Extension 101 and 102 are for KX-HDV. 103 to 124 are for SLT.
- If more than 2 KX-HDV phones are connected, L2 Switch is required and
larger extension number is used for KX-HDV automatically instead of SLT.
SLT port of the extension does not work.

For example, 4 KX-HDV phones and 8 SLT phones can be connected without
optional 8-port SLT card. Virtual card installation (like KX-NS) is also not required.

 12. Initialize KX-HDV Phone.
If KX-HDV phone has been already registered to other SIP server
or SIP carrier, it is required to initialize it in order to connect to KX-
HTS.
1. Select “System Settings”. 2. Dial #136. 3. Select “Yes”.

13. Disable KX-HDV Automatic Registration.
Forced assignment from SLT port to SIP (KX-HDV) can be
disabled.

 14. Register KX-HDV to desired extension.
Click port 105 for example, and change attribution to SIP.

When KX-HDV is connected newly, it is registered to 105 automatically.

 15. Remove KX-HDV.
KX-HDV phone can be removed from KX-HTS (for replacement).
KX-HDV phone is registered using MAC-address of each KX-HDV phone.

 30. Overview

Single-CO key can be set with firmware combination of HTS(VXX or later) and
HDV230(V3.05 or later).

This chapter describes Single-CO key functioning.

31. LED Indication

Idle :LED Off

In Use (own EXT) :LED Blue lit

In Use (other EXT):LED Blue lit

Hold :LED Slow flash, color depends owner

 32. Making Call

Single CO Button (own EXT) ; LED Blue lit

Press “ENTER” to complete dialing to generate call immediately.

Otherwise wait for “Inter digit timer” time out which is 10sec.

Single CO Button (other EXT) ; LED off and then change to Red lit after dialing complete

 33. Receiving Call
While incoming call is appeared at Single-CO key;
Call for own EXT; LED Rapid flash Blue
Select one of the following methods:
· Lift the handset
· Press the SP-PHONE button.
· Press the flashing Single-CO
While incoming call is appeared at Single-CO key;
Call for other EXT; LED Rapid flash Red
· Press the flashing Single-CO
*If the owner EXT would like to prevent taking call by
other EXT then it is necessary to set “Call Pick Up
Deny” feature at call destination EXT.

 34. Holding a call

Held Single-CO button’s LED (own EXT) : Slow flash Blue

To Hold

To retrieve Held Single-CO button’s LED : Slow flash

Off-hook. Talk.

While Hold timer time out the recall will be presented as

 35. Call Transfer

Call transfer

*If the owner EXT would like to prevent taking call by other EXT then it
is necessary to set “Call Pick Up Deny” feature at call destination EXT.

Single-CO button is available for

- Both SIP and Analogue trunk
- HDV230 only, Max 8 Single-CO Button can be set at one terminal
- Single-CO Button control by SIP Notify

1. System – 6.System Options – Trunk Access Priority

This parameter can specify which CO line will be seized when “0” or “9”
dialed for Trunk Access.

It is strongly recommend to assign “Key Name” thus Single-CO Button is

not identical without it.

 41. Enable Video Call for KX-HDV430.
Video call has be enabled manually.

Video call can be started automatically by off hook.
It is not required to press <Video Call> button when calling.
When PBX is KX-HTS, video cannot start during talking. Video has to start when
talking starts.

 43. Compatible IP Camera for KX-HDV430
When KX-HDV430 receives a call from doorphone or extension,
paired IP camera can be displayed automatically.

Firmware of KX-HDV has to be latest.
Latest firmware of KX-HDV can be confirmed and provided from
following Panasonic web site:
http://panasonic.net/pcc/support/pbx/download/hts/index.html

Firmware version of your KX-HDV can be confirmed as follows.

System Settings > Status > Firmware Version

 51. Version up of KX-HDV Phone
Even if firmware of KX-HTS is not latest, KX-HDV is registered as
SIP extension automatically except KX-HDV100/130/230 very old
version (*).
Version up of KX-HDV phone is available from PC which logs in to
KX-HTS.
