Customer DQ Profile Rules

 Profiling after the extracts are accepted


 Street (1,2,3), City, Zip-code format, Country, Region, County
 Tax ID, NAME1, 2, 3
 Profiling after data is cleansed
 What address fields were changed, (US Zip-code are first 5 digits same/different)
 Name1, 2, 3, 4 field length <35, Standardized Address, Street 1, 2, 3 <35
 Profiling after data is harmonized
 How many same/similar address were casualty across individual Account groups
 Are valid Gold Keys provided to each casualty record
 Check for Completeness and Consistency

 What makes a Customer Complete?

 Attribute – All fields mapped to SAP

 County, Zip-code {Country/Account Group(Canada – Sold To)},Address as per Doc, Not


Sales/Corp, Sales Org.

 Region needs to be populated for Sold To (Z001), Ship To (Z002) and Bill To (Z003)

 BAHNE, CITY1, Tax Number 1, Customer classification

 What makes a Customer record Consistent?

 Address accuracy – full street, state, Region, zip, County, Postal code, Country

 SOLD TO : Siebel ID (SAP ‘SOLD TO’ to be associated with Siebel billing account), Siebel/Oracle at
Billing account, (Queries from previous mocks) (Loading customers which should not be loaded)

 Manual override or relevancy rules (no open transactions)

 ‘Not use’ or ‘Do Not Use’ in names -- use alternative accounts (open AR)

 Status – Inactive for profiling

 Standardize using Address Doctor
 Street 1, 2,3 – 35 Char
 Zip codes (US 10 digit, CA 6 digit and so on), City, County, Region per ISO format
 Z001 – SOLD TO
 Z002 – SHIP TO
 Z003 – BILL TO
 ZC01 – CORPORATE
 ZS01 – SALES OFFICE

 What makes a Customer Unique?
 Z001 – SOLD TO
 Siebel ID (From CUSTOMER_MAP Table)
 Address Standardization
 Z002 – SHIP TO
 Z001 would create Z002, remove same address as Z001 using grouping of Siebel ID (CUSTOMER_MAP Table)
 Address Standardization
 Z003 – BILL TO
 Z001 would create Z003, remove same address as Z001 using grouping of Siebel ID (CUSTOMER_MAP Table)

 Each Casualty record need to be updated in CUSTOMER_MAP table as follows
 Match ‘CUSTOMER_MAP.PK_XREF’ with KNA1.BAHNE
 Populate CUSTOMER_MAP.ZLEGACYKEY (of surviving Gold customer) in column CUSTOMER_MAP.ZLOAD for each Casualty record
 Z002
 Match same addresses and collapse lower cleansing score value Oracle MI ID into Higher cleansing value Oracle ID
 Match same addresses and collapse lower value Oracle MI ID into Higher value Oracle ID
 Z003
 Match same addresses and collapse Oracle MI ID into Siebel ID
 Match same addresses and collapse Siebel ID with the lower cleansing score into Siebel ID with higher cleansing score
• When score is identical use first Siebel ID
 In case existing SAP Customer is found in SAP R1 Production extracts, update the SAP Customer number in CUSTOMER_MAP.ZID column
