Theory of planned behavior (TPB)
 Theory of planned behavior (Ajzen,
1991) links one’s belief to behavior and
predicts deliberate behavior.

 It was developed from the Theory of


reasoned actions (Ajzen, 1980).

 This theory proposes that an individual’s


behavioral intentions and behaviors are
shaped by attitude towards the behavior,
subjective norms, and perceived
behavioral control.
