Remove the plug


Charge Pressure Gauge MEL 1523A
(with adapter)
B700
Slowly turn the gauge
valve body clockwise
until the gauge shows a
reading. If the pressure
is low, recharge the
breaker.

Correct Pressure B700,


B850, B950 is 500 PSI
To Charge

Install the
charging tool
with correct
adapter onto the
breaker.

Use the “Above


100 psi” side of
the tool.
Connect the
nitrogen hose to
the charging
tool.

Slowly open the


valve on the
nitrogen tank
and fill the
nitrogen
chamber to 500
PSI. Close the
valve on the
nitrogen tank.
Procedure is the same for the medium pressure accumulator.

Correct pressure is
B700 180 PSI
B850 190PSI
B950 220 PSI

Place in frequency position for model 453 loaders

Remove the plug

Remove the piston

Shown in ENERGY position.

Remove piston and install in cap to put in the


frequency position.

Shown in FREQUENCY position.

To remove bit,
Use punch to push in the lock pin.

Use punch to push the tool retainer down.


Remove the bit.
B700

Apply grease.

Last 8 inches.
B700

Align notch with the bit retaining pin hole.
