human, refined and
cultured.

appreciation?
Art Appreciation
- is the ability to interpret or
understand man-made arts
and enjoy them either
through actual and work-
experience with art tools and
materials or possession of
these works of art for one’s
admiration and satisfaction.
Art Appreciation

learning or
understanding and
creating arts and
enjoying them.
What is the difference
between creativity
and imagination?
Imagination

- seeing the
impossible or
unreal

arts?
1.Art involves
experience.
In order to
experience
something, you
have to make use
of your five senses.
There can never be
appreciation of art
without having
experienced it.
2. Art is not
nature; nature
is not art.
Art is made by
man and nature
is made by God.
However, nature
can be
enhanced by
man.
The enhanced
beauty and artistry
of nature, then, can
be classified as an
art.

cultural.
Art is a work of
humans and
anything that has
been created by
humans is part of
culture.
Art becomes
cultural when it
depicts people’s
way of life, religious
practices, mores an
traditions, etc.
